1)The spring market kicks off in Metro Vancouver around the middle of February. Just after Valentine’s Day, you’ll start seeing plenty of for-sale signs popping up. The spring market brings with it the best selection of properties coming on the market for buyers and the largest number of buyers looking at properties for sellers.

2)The Bank of Canada has eight interest rate announcements planned in 2024. Interest rates and the housing market go hand in hand. If the rates go up or down, the market goes up or down. The costs of borrowing directly affect what prices buyers can afford to offer on a home for sale. 3)The Fall market uptick. If you missed spring, the fall market has a burst in activity after kids are back in school.
