The story behind our company name – Dogwood Realty’s namesake is British Columbia’s unique provincial symbol – the flowering Pacific Dogwood tree. It’s perfect because we help families put down roots through homeownership at Dogwood Realty. Being a small family-run company, we consider every client a branch of our company’s family tree.
When we applied for our business license, we thought Dogwood Realty would’ve already been snapped up. Dogwood anything is so well-established in the local lexicon. Do a quick internet search, and you’ll find all sorts of local businesses sharing this branch of BC’s history. From fashion brands to restaurants and hospitality, even our secondary school diplomas. The Dogwood tree and beautiful flowers are synonymous with BC, especially Metro Vancouver. In any BC government building, Dogwood flowers are tucked away in every corner and in the provincial crest, too.
Imagine our surprise when Dogwood Realty was available for our little business. Of course, we jumped at the chance! And we’ve been helping families put down roots as Dogwood Realty ever since.
